Nevermind, it was the "Don't run the installer from the .dmg" thing.
I copied the installer to the disk and it ran fine.

This should probably go in the FAQs if possible.

I just installed Panther on my Bronze PB and only the WirelessDriver
pref pane got installed, not the .kext (which would pretty much be
the crux of the biscuit). =20

Any one else see this?  Copying the .kext to the appropriate folder
just resulted in a dialog box on boot telling me it was not installed
properly (I did fix the permissions for the kext).

Any ideas?
