Hope someone's listening...doesn't look like there's been much activity on the list lately (unless the archives are just really, really out of date). I just did an 'Erase and Install' of Panther on my Lombard Powerbook. I was very surprised to see the WirelessDriver menu widget at the top of the screen after the install. However, I couldn't find or create a network connection for my Skyline card. So I downloaded the newest WirelessDriver disk image and installed it. The PrefPane shows up, but it's completely greyed out, and there's still no network interface for the card in the Network pane. Obviously the hardware is recognized. Can I manually create the eth(0) interface somewhere? Any help appreciated! - Jason |
