[Wirelessdriver-support] Installing on top of Panther?

I see from other posts that Wirelessdriver works with Panther...but has
anyone tried to install Wirelessdriver on top of Panther, as oppossed to an
update install?

I backed up & wiped my PB drive before installing Panther. First thing I did
after installing Panther was to plug in ethernet and download the latest
Wirelessdriver. After I did so, I rebooted.

The PC card was working before the Panther install...now the PC card's LEDs
are dark. (The card is a Dell TrueMobile 1150). The card is visible to the
system (via the menu-bar PC card list) and when I use the troubleshooting
shell script, I see it respond. All seems good.

But when I go into the Network preference pane, I can't add an EN1
configuration. The WirelessConfig pref pane does nothing; none of its
controls are active.

Not sure what's up. For fun, I stuck an SMC 2635W in there too (not certain
if it's a Prism card, but thought I'd try anyway) -- no dice.

Any ideas?
