[Wirelessdriver-support] Dead project? Ghost release?

This projet seems a bit far form being active. The last file posted in 
"Download" is from August, 2002
SInce then, there have been only 12 posts in the developers list.
So I guess this is as far as the authors got with it, and last summer 
they simply let it stay as it is now.

But then, in 2003-05-25, Rob McKeever announced he had a new version 
with  WEP and network scanning ready for testing ("Interest in testing 
a new version of the WirelessDriver?")

I wonder what ever happened to this ghost release, and more important, 
if anything can be done to help support more devices, etc.
