[Wirelessdriver-support] Seeing the card?

I have a PB G3 Lombard and recently bought a Lucent Tech Silver card for it.
I'm having several issues.  First, when I insert the card I can see its name
listed under the card icon but it remains grey.  If I try to set up Airport
assistant it tells me it cannot detect an airport card.  Also, when I try to
set up the configuration for the driver it does not detect a base station
and shows that there is no signal strength.  Can anyone help?
