Kismac does a very good job and comes with its own drivers for a few cards, so you might be misinformed about that it does airport only, or you might mistake Kismet for Kismac. There is a good graphing option, both on the coverage of an AP while driving around (using GPS, see below) or on the signal strengths. There is an excellent support from its author, Mick, and a mailling list is available too. It realy is a fast (fastly? vastly?) improving program. GPS support is available, as are maps and its calibration (that is, you provide the map, kismac provides the calibration and tracking).
