[Wirelessdriver-support] orinoco silver no enX options...

hi folks, i feel like i've tried everything.... i did "RTFM"
and also *all* the messages in the support forums. i never
get the enX option in the network preferences. i assume
my card isn't actually supported, even though it's listed
as being supported ("Orinoco Silver")... (?)

more specifically: Proxim ORiNOCO 11a/b/g Client Combocard Silver

so far i've tried the following.
	- install/reboot several times in a row
	- run uninstaller and retry install/reboot N times
	- run individual installers as described here:
		http://www.musox.com/macosx/wirelessdriver.html
		and reboot
	- fix privileges on boot volume and reboot
	- rm /System/Library/Extensions.kextcache and
		/System/Library/Extensions.mkext and reboot

add'l notes:
	green blinking light on card flashes - so card is
inserted correctly.

	i can see the PC card menu in the upper right menubar
		(it says: Atheros Communications, AR5001-0000-0000
		and gives me the option to 'power off Card')

	i can open the WirelessConfig pref panel from system prefs

	however, i noticed that if i reboot and then do a
'sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/WirelessDriver.kext/'
the response is:
"kextload: /System/Library/Extensions/WirelessDriver.kext/ loaded successfully"
w/ no complaints. hmmmmmm. why didn't it load automatically
when i rebooted? but after i explicitly load it like this
i still can't find an enX option in the Network Preferences......
