First off, what version of OS X did you have installed? With every version I've played with, except the really old ones, you can simply try reinstalling OS X over top of itself. There is an option that for doing a clean install that allows you to move existing bits of the OS out of the way while leaving third party stuff installed where it was. This can often correct other problems related to upgrades that didn't quite get things right as well. The other, more complex option, is to replace the IOPCCardFamily kext on it's own. If you tell me what version of the OS, I might be able to help you out. Your system sounds like it was likely working properly to begin with. No work or testing has been done with the 802.11a/b cards and the information I have would tend to indicate that the driver will need to be changed to handle these as they communicate to the system very differently. -Rob On Friday, July 4, 2003, at 00:20, b p wrote: > Hi all, > > I've royally screwed up while trying to get this > driver to work with my wireless card. > > I've gone and installed the "IOPCCardFamily v.1.1.0 > installer" without reading the doc closely enough > first.
