[Wirelessdriver-support] Apple confirms third-party cards work with AirPort 3.1?

Hey folks,

This MacWorld piece:

Seems to state that certain 802.11g PCMCIA cards (well, it says 
CardBus... what *is* the difference, anyway?) will work with Apple's 
native drivers under AirPort 3.1...

Has anyone tried this out? Would it apply to any 802.11b cards, too?
