[Wirelessdriver-support] new driver?

I'm just wondering about the new driver?  Whats the happenings with it? 
  I'd love to get a hold of it and test it and also wondering what new 
features it has?  Will it be able to support locating... like airport 
does on the menubar when you find a network to connect to?  I haven't 
really received any info on exactly what the new wireless driver 
consists of, I'd sure like to know though..
