This isn't exactly in this group's area, but I am hoping somebody might=20= have a lead. If my cable modem goes down, which it does from=20 time-to-time, when it comes up, I have to reset my router (NetGear=20 MR814 wireless device) by powering it down and back up. This would be=20= a minor inconvenience if it weren't for the fact the modem and the=20 router are in the attic, and I am not. I asked NetGear if there was a way their device could "sense" that the=20= line was down and do the right thing when it came back up. They said=20 no. I imagine this must be a common problem and frustration,=20 especially for people using wireless ethernet cards. Does anybody know=20= of a solution?
