Look where the Wireless PrefPane is installed. It should be in=20 /Library/PreferencePanes/ folder and not anywhere else. If it is not=20 then locate it and place it there. If it is then you have to use a=20 cache cleaner app (like Cache Out X) and let it delete the system cache=20= files. Then restart and it should appear in the System Prefernces. //Rob On m=E5ndag, mar 24, 2003, at 19:45 Europe/Stockholm, Stephen Anselmino=20= wrote: > Hello all- > > I have a PowerBook G3/266 with an Orinoco Silver WiFi card and am=20 > running Mac OS 10.1.5 > > I downloaded and installed the Beta 4 version of the WirelessDriver=20 > for Mac OS 10.1.x. > > My Linksys 4 port wireless router (802.11b version) is up and running=20= > and communicates just fine with the PowerBook and Orinoco card, but=20 > the WirelessConfig System Preference has never appeared in the System=20= > Preferences window.
