Hi, So far, I have exactly the same experience that you're having. I have a Wallstreet PB and a ThinkPad with ORiNOCO silver cards. I also have an iBook. The iBook has no trouble connecting to the Airport Extreme, no matter what the settings. The ThinkPad can connect under Win XP if I turn off WEP. The Wallstreet can connect under OS 9, but not under OS X. However, I can administer the Airport from OS X if I connect the Wallstreet directly to the Airport through the ethernet cable. However, that fact doesn't help me to connect wirelessly from OS X. None of the system have any trouble connecting to my original (gray UFO) Airport base station.
