On the website, it seems that the troubleshooting script has been taken down. (the utilities directory is empty) and the SourceForge download site does not contain the troubleshooting script. No mirrors, so I (and probably others) are SOL. (Please email me the latest if you get a chance or add to the FAQ as to why it's not there anymore...) This is a shame, as I am trying to diagnose a problem on my two powerbooks using the Lucent WaveLan Silver cards. (proxim iteration) I am typing from a Windows laptop with one of them just fine, so it's not a card or AP issue (Using an AP-200)... Here is what's going on: OSX does identify that we have the Lucent Technologies Silver Card in the PC Card slot (Little card icon in the upper right says in greyed out letters "Lucent Technologies WaveLAN/IEEE") . No lights turn on (as if the driver is not binding to the PC Card, perhaps?) The WirelessConfig is there in the System preferences, but no en1 device in the Network System Preference panel. I installed WirelssDriverBeta5_1.dmg.sit. My OS is 10.2.4. No other wireless drivers have been installed. Please help! I am happy to mirror the troubleshooting script as a way of contributing. Hell, I'll mirror the whole main project page, if someone wants. Thanks so much. |
