[Wirelessdriver-support] Problems with 10.2 and SMC 2632W v2

I've got a TiBook 400 with a dead Airport slot.  I know the slot is 
dead because I tried replacing the card with a new one and it still 
doesn't work.  I booted off of an external drive that sees my friend's 
Airport card in his Ti and it still didn't see my card.

I have a spare SMC 2632W v2 which I'd like to use.  I tried installing 
the packaged version from sourceforge and the SMC card doesn't show up 
in my Network preference pane.  The WirelessConfig pane shows up, but I 
can't do anything.

I know the machine is seeing the card in some way, because the card 
icon shows up in the menubar when I insert it.

I've also tried downloading the latest source from CVS and building & 
installing that, and the SMC still doesn't show up in the Network pane.

The diagnostic script link from the FAQ doesn't work, or I'd include 
output from it.

The OS is a freshly installed 10.2 updated to 10.2.4, and the Airport 
slot is empty.
