Simple reply: Are you referring to the "Network Port Configurations" where
you put a check into the checkbox?

I presume you are, which is a bigger problem, but if you are just not seeing
the Ethernet Adaptor (en1) choice in the pull-down menu, that checkbox might
be the reason.
