[Wirelessdriver-support] Install procedure and no eth0

I've been trying to install the beta 5 driver on my Wallstreet running 
10.2.3 using an Orinoco Silver, but have been having the same issues as 
a bunch of you, no eth0 etc. appearing in the network pane.

Am I correct in understanding that after installing, launching the 
network pane should automatically ask you to create a new device? Mine 
doesn't

All my software seems to have been put in the right place, but all my 
network pane shows is Built-in Ethernet.

Should I install the software with the card plugged-in? Not plugged-in? 
Also, should the lights on the card come on at all, even if the 
software still doesn't show eth0 etc.?

In addition, I tried installing the Orinoco software for OS9 and it 
says that the card is not available or the driver is not installed, 
however, both are. Hmmmmmmmmmmm Bad card?
