[Wirelessdriver-support] Dell TrueMobile 1150 (partial) success

Hi Wireless Driver enthusiasts:

The Dell TrueMobile 1150 series PC card works under OSX 10.2.3 on my 
Powerbook G3 250, and acts like an Orinoco Gold: that is, it works fine 
under 128-bit WEP or no encryption but does not seem to work with 
64-bit WEP.  (I have a D-Link DI-614+ Wireless Router.)

But I do get a kernel panic if I remove and reinsert the card (frown.)  
Any ideas why this is happening, and how I can fix or workaround it? 
I'm running the latest version of the driver (version 1.0.0b5). TIA for 
any reply.

The Dell TrueMobile card seems to be OEM manufactured for Dell by Agere 
Systems.  Note that there's no MC connector on this Dell card for an 
external antenna.
