Hi I bought a Netgear router and MA401RA card today and have installed both these drivers and the ioxperts drivers (at different times) and was able to get the system to work once, but what I am noticing it that the card does not mount, so when I go to the little PCCARD icon in the menu bar it says: Unknown Vendor, Unknown Card Type. and gives me the option of turning the power off. A couple times I noticed it came up with a very garbled name. The time I got it to work the name came up right (MA401RA (same as every other name posted here for my version of the Netgear card). Again I was able to make this all work for about 1/2 hour, till I had to reboot, then it wouldn't show the name of the card again, just Unknown Vendor etc. Can anyone help me with this, how can I get the card to come up, when I run the tech report from here it shows the card as | +-o pccard-no-cis@0,0 <class IOPCCard16Device> | "IONmae" = "pccard-no-cis" I know the router is fine, the pccard slot is good (my FW card works fine). So is it OSX, or do I have a bad PCCard from Netgear? The program and driver seem to be fine, it seems to be more to do with getting the PCCARD name recognized. Thanks Tony Dehnke |
