Machine is a 333 mhz Lombard, 10.2.2 + YDL 2.3, 512 MB RAM, 32 gig HD, Orinoco Gold card. i got everything installed correctly, punch my IP info into EN1, and tried to hook up to a D-Link DI-614+ wireless router, but nothing happens. Can't browse the net, can't browse the LAN. Basically, after I type the SSID name in to the pref pane and then ACCEPT, it spins the color wheel for a sec, then just says "No Signal". WEP is off so that isn't an issue. Console says 2002-12-19 10:02:55.825 System Preferences[367] Iterations: 1 Network Name: , successful: Y 2002-12-19 10:03:11.081 System Preferences[367] Path for prefs: /Users/anthony/Library/Preferences/ org.noncontiguous.WirelessDriver.plist Dec 19 10:03:19 Herbie mDNSResponder[252]: 8227: WARNING! It appears to say this everytime I try to log on via the pref pane. Does this have anything to do with not being able to hook up wirelessly to the router? Please help! Thanks, Anthony |
