I have a Proxim wireless PC card I'm using with a Farallon carrier but 
I can't get it to show up in the Network Prefs. The Wireless prefs are 
also greyed out. I've gone through the FAQ and tried some of the 
suggestions others have had with various cards, but nothing works. One 
of the suggestions said to uninstall the software, remove the card and 
then run the separate package installers. When I tried this, the 
ConfigApps and PrefsPane packages installed, but the Wireless package 
would not install. The message said: "you cannot install the software 
on this disk. (null)". This of course refers the drive I have on this 
computer a beige G3 desktop. Does anyone have any tips? Or should I 
just get another card?
