I got the driver working fine with another Wavelan Silver on a TiBook, but it's not working on the Lombard I'm using now. The Network prefs don't show the card as an option (just Ethernet and Modem), and the Wireless Config prefs pane doesn't provide any editable controls. here's the output of the troubleshooting script: ### system info ProductName: Mac OS X ProductVersion: 10.2 BuildVersion: 6C115 Darwin Sid.local. 6.0 Darwin Kernel Version 6.0: Sat Jul 27 13:18:52 PDT 2002; root:xnu/xnu-344.obj~1/RELEASE_PPC Power Macintosh powerpc ppc750 ### wireless driver files installed drwxr-xr-x 3 root wheel 102 Jul 27 13:22 IOPCCardFamily.kext ls: /Library/PreferencePanes: No such file or directory ### wirelesscard info | | "VersionOneInfo" = ("Lucent Technologies","WaveLAN/IEEE","V$ | | +-o pccard156,2@0,0 <class IOPCCard16Device> | | "IOName" = "pccard156,2" ### network info lo0: flags=8049<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 16384 inet6 ::1 prefixlen 128 inet6 fe80::1%lo0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x1 inet 127.0.0.1 netmask 0xff000000 gif0: flags=8010<POINTOPOINT,MULTICAST> mtu 1280 stf0: flags=0<> mtu 1280 en0: flags=8863<UP,BROADCAST,SMART,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 inet6 fe80::250:e4ff:fe85:df4f%en0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x4 inet 192.168.0.3 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.0.255 ether 00:50:e4:85:df:4f media: autoselect (100baseTX <full-duplex>) status: active supported media: none autoselect 10baseT/UTP <half-duplex> 10baseT/UTP <full-duplex> 100baseTX <half-duplex> 100baseTX <full-duplex> ### wd command line tool status What should I try next? thanks. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
