I think your card works is recognized and works. What I think you have=20= to do is change the network settings for the card. To do that go into=20 the Apple menu and select Location and then Network Preferences... In the network prefernces click on the Location pull down menu and=20 select New Location... Name it Airport or wireless or whatever you like=20= to call it. Click ok. Next click on the Show pull down menu and select Network Port=20 Configuration. You should see three choices, Built-in Ethernet,=20 Ethernet Adaptor (en2) and Internal Modem. If you only see Built-In=20 Ethernet and Internal Modem click on New... select the Ethernet Adaptor=20= (en2) which is the wireless card if it recognized properly, If you wish=20= you can give it a name and click ok. Now uncheck all other ports except=20= the Ethernet Adaptor (en2). And click in the Show pull down menu and=20 select the Ethernet Adaptor (which should be the only choice in the=20 menu). Enter the settings for DHCP for your WLan for instance IP address=20 10.0.2.2, Mask 255.255.255.0 and router 10.0.2.1 (if you are using an=20 Airport Base Station that is otherwise you have to enter the setting=20 for you WLan). You should also enter your ISPs DNS server which is=20 maybe the only setting that is needed if the Airport network is=20 configured properly already. I would recommend you create more locations for all your network=20 settings (one for work, home on the road) if you are travelling alot,=20 each network setting can be switched easily in the Apple Menu Location=20= and are configured the same way as mentioned above. //Rob On s=F6ndag, nov 24, 2002, at 06:06 Europe/Stockholm, Steve Jaynes = wrote: > I CAN NOT make my Orinoco Silver Card work w/ 10.2.2! > > I've reinstalled, de-installed, manually checked for prefspanes=20 > locations, etc. I've tried all the stuff I've read about for the last=20= > two weeks worth of Mailing List postings.
