I'm trying to install an EnGenuis card with no luck. No matter what I do the network pane never shows the en1 or en2 interface. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers as well as repairing permissions via disk utility. My troubleshooting info is as follows: ### system info ProductName: Mac OS X ProductVersion: 10.2.2 BuildVersion: 6F21 Darwin ip68-98-92-184.ph.ph.cox.net 6.2 Darwin Kernel Version 6.2: Tue Nov 5 22:00:03 PST 2002; root:xnu/xnu-344.12.2.obj~1/RELEASE_PPC Power Macintosh powerpc ppc7450 ### wireless driver files installed drwxr-xr-x 3 root wheel 102 Nov 22 17:09 WirelessDriver.kext drwxr-xr-x 3 root wheel 102 Nov 5 23:04 IOPCCardFamily.kext ls: /Library/PreferencePanes: No such file or directory ### wirelesscard info ### network info lo0: flags=8049<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 16384 inet6 ::1 prefixlen 128 inet6 fe80::1%lo0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x1 inet 127.0.0.1 netmask 0xff000000 gif0: flags=8010<POINTOPOINT,MULTICAST> mtu 1280 stf0: flags=0<> mtu 1280 en0: flags=8863<UP,BROADCAST,SMART,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 inet6 fe80::203:93ff:fe1d:35c%en0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x4 inet 68.98.92.184 netmask 0xfffffe00 broadcast 68.98.93.255 ether 00:03:93:1d:03:5c media: autoselect (10baseT/UTP <half-duplex>) status: active supported media: none autoselect 10baseT/UTP <half-duplex> 10baseT/UTP <half-duplex,hw-loopback> 10baseT/UTP <full-duplex> 10baseT/UTP <full-duplex,hw-loopback> 100baseTX <half-duplex> 100baseTX <half-duplex,hw-loopback> 100baseTX <full-duplex> 100baseTX <full-duplex,hw-loopback> 1000baseTX <full-duplex> 1000baseTX <full-duplex,hw-loopback> 1000baseTX <full-duplex,flow-control> 1000baseTX <full-duplex,flow-control,hw-loopback> en1: flags=8822<BROADCAST,SMART,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 tunnel inet --> ether 00:30:65:01:f5:b3 media: autoselect (<unknown type>) status: inactive supported media: autoselect ### wd command line tool status /Volumes/WirelessDriver beta 5.1/Utilities/Troubleshooting Info.command: WirelessConfig: command not found logout [Process completed] |
