I had this trouble, and I solved it this way: - Power off the card and remove it. - Go to Network Port Configurations in Network. - Delete the greyed out en1. - Quit and restart system preferences, then open Network again. - Now insert the card again. When I did this, a new network configuration was found (en1 again), and all was happy happy joy joy. This assumes, of course, that you've done the double-install thing that you have to do to get the driver working in the first place.
