As I mailed before: it /does/ work. Currently, I'm running the gold 
card in a tibook that also has the apple airport card installed. 
Downstairs, I'm using the airport card, upstairs (further away from 
the base station) I switch to the gold card. Even running them 
simultaneous works, each card with its own IP address. It does seem 
to confuse some apps, though.
