That's my fault... The installer for beta 5 put the preference pane into the wrong folder and now the system sees both the old and new versions. They should both work, but the newer one has a bit more functionality. Older version (correct location): /Library/PreferencePanes/WirelessConfig.ppane New version (wrong location): /System/Library/PreferencePanes/WirelessConfig.ppane You can remove or move them manually, if you like.
