Just to be even more explicit, you cannot put *ANYTHING* other than an Airport card in an Airport slot in *ANY* Macintosh. It may have the form factor of a PC Card, but it isn't a PC Card slot. I ran across a post by an Apple engineer on some forum where someone was trying to get a non-Airport card running in his desktop G4 Airport slot, who freaked out, saying that the voltages were completely different and he was likely to ruin his motherboard. nigel |
