I should have mentioned when reporting my case a few days ago (bronze G3 
PB, 10.2.1, WaveLAN Gold, no en1) that the card lights did NOT come on when 
the machine booted into OS X (though the troubleshooting script seemed to 
find the card correctly), but _did_ come on (and the card functioned) when 
booting into OS 9.

I'm not sure how to interpret that other than that the card is "less 
visible" as hardware in OS X .....

I haven't yet tried the "multiple installs of beta5" trick that I think 
someone suggested a couple of days ago.
