Hi there. I've got an Avaya Wireless PC Card Gold, which Avaya don't have OS X drivers for, so I thought I'd check out this project. First I downloaded the installer for 1.0.0b5, but the card didn't show up as a network interface. So I grabbed the latest CVS version this morning, built the components and installed it. The card then showed up as a network interface, and the prefpane picked up the signal level properly, but I couldn't actually seem to connect. Then I searched the archives... and came across someone suggesting to remove the "/System/Library/Extensions.kextcache" file. This should probably get added to the FAQ I would think, as it solved my problem instantly. Works like a dream! And for the supported cards list, this card is working happily with both WEP off, and at 128bit. I don't think it supports 40bit. cheers, and many many thanks to the developers of this project. nigel |
