Stefan, thanks for your reply. I'm nervous about messing with my functioning wireless setup, but here goes: I ran the un-installer and before rebooting tried the Compact Flash/PCMCIA (hereafter = CF) card. It did not mount as a drive. I rebooted to let the uninstaller finish any 'business' and still the CF card does not mount to the desktop. I am away from my wireless zone at home, so I cannot tell if the uninstaller indeed removed files needed for a wireless connection,but I assume it did.
