Rob-
I have Cox cable internet.  I have no other comps. or printers on my
network and the configuration of the IP's seems to be correct and
automatic whether I have it set to Ethernet Built -In or EN1.  See why
I'm getting frustrated with this?

Tom,

Maybe it's just an Airport issue with your cable/dsl connection (which 
from what I read is common).  Can you see any other computers/printers 
on your network? Can you see a correct IP address for your cable/dsl 
connection from the airport? only, b/c I originally had an issue with 
my d-link router and cable modem but the driver was working okay.
