[Wirelessdriver-support] Same Problems as everyone else

Just wanted you all to know, after hours of messing with beta 5.1 of the
wireless driver and trying all the solutions which have been posted, I
was still unable to get this driver to connect to the internet.  I could
access another PC on the home network and download files etc but forget
the internet connection.  I to was having a good signal bar response,
listed adaptor (not grayed out), tried WEP on and off, etc etc etc.
 
It then dawned on me that this did not make any sense.  Even though it
is beta and may need further work, why are some able to get it to work
with very little problems?  I proceeded to switch out my home router
from a Linksys to a Netgear that I borrowed and VIOLA! Instant internet
connection with working driver.
 
All of this to let you know, either some of us may have routers,
gateways, etc that are improperly configured or just not compatible at
this point with internet connection.  I don't know the reasons and have
not tried to change the Linksys router configuration to test my theory
but is interesting to note I did nothing with the Netgear and it works
just fine.  Interesting, is that I have a Win XP laptop used for work
that had no problem connecting to the Linksys router with the same
wireless card.
 
BTW, using Wallstreet II, Orinoco silver card, and Orinoco RG 1000.
