Tom, I am also running a G3 Powerbook/Lucent Silver. When I installed the 5.1 software I could see the en1 in the port window but it was grayed out and I could not get a connection. I decided to put in a brand new "location" in which only the en1 was listed. I clicked on it to highlight it and then restarted the whole thing. When I came back up I was connected. I could also connect on any other location where the en1 showed up as a possible port. Don't know why but it worked. Good luck On Wednesday, September 4, 2002, at 12:57 PM, Tom Tokoph wrote: > I tried that at one point in time. I tried unplugging the airport as > well.
