Success! After much installing, uninstalling, rebooting, Terminal App-ing, and general frustration I finally figured it out. 1. I went through the stages Yuriwho summarized in the post: 'Troubles with b5-1 installation', logged in with an Admin account. No dice. 2. Went through it all a second time. Incidentally, I've never found a receipt for any install of WirelessDriver. Go figure. 3. Uninstalled from the uninstaller in the .dmg and tried again, but this time did it logged in as root. Success! Absolutely flawless install, Network prefs noticed the new port and added it (en1) and instantly everything came alive. Maybe anyone still having problems should have a go from the root account? This is on a G3 (Bronze keyboard) PowerBook 333MHz with 192MB RAM, an Orinoco Silver card and a (Graphite) Apple Base Station. Phew! I can get my iTunes library moving around with me again!
