Hi all, I know I must be overlooking something simple, but I can't get the wireless drivers working with a freshly loaded Lombard G3 powerbook and a WaveLAN (Orinoco) Silver card. This works fine under 9.2, but not on Jaguar. I have loaded the beta 5.1 wireless driver and when the card is plugged in, there's a menu item that says "Lucent Technologies WaveLAN/IEEE" and also has a "power off card" item. It doesn't look like the card is ever getting powered on - the light on the card remains off. Here's some more info: * I put the card into a PC laptop and loaded the latest firmware - didn't make any difference. * When I try to do the 'kmodstat' commands listed in the FAQ, it says "command not found" * Here's what I get when I do the 'ioreg' commands: ioreg -l | grep VersionOneInfo | | "VersionOneInfo" = ("Lucent Technologies","WaveLAN/IEEE","Version 01.01","") ioreg -l | grep pccard | | +-o pccard156,2@0,0 <class IOPCCard16Device> | | "IOName" = "pccard156,2" Any hints as to what I can try next ?? Many thanks, Phil |
