I am using the beta 5 version that supports os 10.2 but I'm having major problems.here's a timeline . I installed the drivers Card is not recognized so I try rebooting From then on, my computer will not go more then 5 or ten minutes without freezing, forcing me to restart.it doesn't seem to be any particular action.very random, sometimes freezing at startup I used the uninstaller, but the problem persists I restarted and booted off the os 10.2 cd and started a reinstall of the os After the reinstall, there was no crashing, but the card still didn't work I reinstalled the drivers, and this time.everything worked.wireless, and no freezing Then my computer died in it's sleep When I started it up from sleep, the screen was just black.no response.and when I restarted.I had the freezing problem again.but the wireless was partially working.only sometimes And.if the card was in during startup, it would wait almost 5 miuntes where it said "waiting for network initialization" So now I am reinstalling the os to stop the crashing problem SYSTEM Stats Powerbook G3 Series (bronze keyboard) 256 mb ram 400mhz processor Wireless card is a sony vaio card (card actually made by Orinoco/Lucent) Also.I know the card works because with system 9, I was able to make the card work seamlessly with the Orinoco drivers with my sony card PLEASE.any ideas?!?!? eric |
