After installing the wireless driver, which worked great with my Dlink DWL-650, my Wallstreet G3 (10.1.5) now wakes up with the backlight off. If I look closely, I can dimly see graphics on the screen, but only items that would normally be white. I have to force poweroff and reboot to use it now. Tried the following without success: Put Pbook to sleep, remove WLAN card, woke pbook. Reset PMU, put Pbook to sleep, woke pbook. Booted without WLAN card, put Pbook to sleep, woke pbook. Uninstalled Wireless driver, put Pbook to sleep, woke pbook. Reinstalled OS X 10.1.5 update, put Pbook to sleep, woke pbook. Everything was working fine before I installed the driver, it is the only variable that changed. It seems like this was a problem on Wallstreets with earlier verions of OS X, I'm wondering if a component of the wireless driver has caused this bug to start occuring on my Wallstreet. Any files that get replaced? Or system configuration options chanaged? Any chance of this being looked into? My powerbook is pretty much useless if I have to reboot it every time it goes to sleep. Thanks, D. _________________________________________________________________ Join the worlds largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com |
