[Wirelessdriver-support] 2 questions

I'm using an ORiNOCO silver card in the PC card slot of a TiBook
running 10.1.5 connecting to a first-generation Airport base station:

(1) When signing on to a network which requires a password, the user
guide
says to enter the network name and password into the PrefPan. Where does
the password go? I am connected to my network now though I did not enter
a password. I am using WEP and it just so happens that the key is the
same as the network password.

(2) Does the wireless driver only support getting an IP address through
DHCP?
When I try to set the IP address manually, it does not seem to work?
