#12 Support wanted: Farallon Skyline PN473
I was extremely excited when I came across a link to your
project on Proxim's (previously Farallon) web site, since
Proxim apparently is incapable of providing updated drivers
for its own products.
However, it seems that I am still out of luck: your driver
appears to support the Skyline card model PN473A while I
happen to have the card called PN473A. I am guessing
that the internal circuitry differs between the two cards
which would explain why an additional Ethernet adapter
does not show up in the Network control panel although
the PC card appears in the menu bar, labeled "INTERSIL
HFA384x/IEEE."
Do you have any plans on extending your mercy even to
owners of this type of card or am I going to have to
continue to be frustrated at Proxim's apathy? :o)
