# README #

The aim of this program is to calculate the temperature and volume of a wire that is
resistively heated using an electrical current.

The wire length is assumed to stay constant and thermal expansion occurs solely in the
radial direction.

Electrical loading could be defined in the form of a sinusoidal wave or tabular form,
or the discharge from a capacitor bank.

Perhaps later the heat loss due to radiation could be added.

Originally, the electrical loading was input as a voltage-time profile but
current-time is probably more useful.
