#1 How to turn of Ident.

Hi there!

I just installed you IRC deamon on one of our servers.
It work excellent as far as I can tell. Only, when I
connect to the server with i.e. mIrc, it takes ages
before I can finally join a channel. It takes a long
time for the Ident stuff. Can I turn Ident off? If
not, how is it supposed to work and do I need to do
something special to make it work quicker?
