#9 second instance behavior

I tried to open a second log file from the command line. Got response "Another instance of WintTail is already running. Program will be closed." Would be nice if the new instance would pass the new log file on to the existing instance to open before exiting.

Hello and thank you for your note. At the moment WinTail implements a check that prevents to be able to open multiple instances simultaneously. It seemed logical because WinTail allows to monitor multiple files at once, so do not make much sense to allow concurrent execution of multiple instances. I shall however consider your suggestion, seeing to find a solution.

What about using an option (checkbox to allow multiple instances) ?

Hi. For the moment only one instance of WinTail can be opened but if you need to monitor more than one file, you can do it.
