First of all, congratulations for your work : Winstone is THE
lightweight server that I was looking for. I'm a very happy user :)
I have a little trouble with my Web app : I expect to have (almost) the
same behaviour as with Tomcat about the default servlet (those that
serves static resources). Actually, if I map my own servlet to "/", the
servlet named "default" is no longer available for other mappings
(e.g. *.css, *.js, etc) and of course I don't want to map explicitely
"default" to winstone.StaticResourceServlet in my web.xml ; I'd prefer
that the engine does it.
I found in winstone.WebAppConfiguration (search for
"DEFAULT_SERVLET_CLASS") that the "default" servlet is mounted only if
nothing is mapped to "/" (if I understand the code) ; it would be fair
if the "default" servlet was mounted systematically, or perhaps
available with the settings (CLI option)
Did I miss something ?
Is there a workaround ?
What do you think about that ?
