A long time has passed since the last release. After heavy work over the last weeks and months I'm proud to announce the release of ShisenSho 0.3.0.

A lot has happened in the meantime. There are many of improvements with respect to the last version:

• You can now load background images of several file formats (bmp, gif, jpg, png, and tif) from any folder. They may be stretched, tiled or centered.

ShisenSho is a Windows clone of the famous KDE game KShisen.

Version 0.2.2 is mainly a maintenance release.

It fixes a serious bug that led to crashes when ShisenSho was run for the first time on a user account. New users who were unable to start the last release(s) can do so now.

Also, generic two-letter translation files are now supported. This makes the included "de" translation work on any computer set to German. The more specific four-letter "ln-CN" (language-country) translation files are still working.... read more

ShisenSho is a Windows clone of the famous KDE game KShisen.

Version 0.2.1 is a major bugfix and compatibility release. It is no longer compatible with Windows versions prior to Windows 2000, including Windows Me, due to the fact that transparency works very faulty there.

The most further bug fixes include removal of memory leaks and crashes. Also, there was a difficult to track rounding error that made ShisenSho highlight a different tile than you clicked on.... read more

ShisenSho is a Windows clone of the famous KDE game KShisen.

With release 0.2.0 I implemented many features from the KDE4 version of KShisen, as well as other new features. These include:

• zooming tiles according to the window size
• new game types "Chinese Style" and "Sliding Tiles", allowing to push tiles together
• in Hall of Fame, the game type is displayed as a mouse-over hint
• new game field size 16x9
• autosave/load of current game
• solvability check is now display in the status bar

The way to the next release takes much longer than I suspected. It will have lots of new features, but the bugs and codechanges are driving me crazy...

However, in the meantime I took out the 0.1.2.3 code and decorated this version with a little winter feeling. Hope, you have fun.

There are no other new features nor any known bugs fixed.

ShisenSho is a Windows clone of the famous KDE game KShisen.

Release 0.1.2.3 has some new features. It now loads KMahjongg tilesets and uses transparency when drawing them. The main window is now resizable. Furthermore, you can (caution!) clear the highscores from within the Hall of Fame dialog.
Last but not least, there are some more internal changes and fixes.

ShisenSho is a Windows clone of the famous KDE game KShisen.

Release 0.1.1.2 now has an auto-pause function when deactivating the main window or opening some dialogs.
Second new feature is a 'global' Hall Of Fame, which holds the scores of each user playing at a single computer. Previously, each user account had it's own highscore table. The old highscores are automatically merged into the new list.

You may unzip the package over your previous installation. The highscores won't get reset.
