I don't know whether this is a bug or a new feature, but the debugee console is no longer closing when winpdb exits. If you do a number of restarts, as I do, you end up with a lot of them.
If it's a feature, perhaps it could be made into a user preference.

The problem with automatically closing the terminal window when the main program ends is that any child processes possibly created by the program will be terminated as well, which is usually not desirable.
I was not able to think of a way (yet) to make this behavior optional in a usable way.

This is actually a new feature or a bug fix.
