#2 Column sorting improvements

It would be good to have column sorting that toggled
between ascending, descending and no sort, and
decorated the column headings appropriately. Possibly
this class might be used to implement it:

An option to sort the articles as they appear in the
journal would be nice. i.e. to sort articles by volume,
issue, and then by page.
