WinMerge does not show files that exist under a subdirectory hierarchy when for example the subdirectory is missing in the other path being compared. An option could enable users to select whether WinMerge should continue to list all files and directories regardless of whether the directory containing them does no exist in either path. These unique files and directories would be listed for example when the option "Show Left Unique Files" is set and the unique directory only exists in the left path. Currently Winmerge only shows the top directory missing in one of the paths, it just ignores all files and subdirectories under. I am using version Winmerge 18.104.22.168

Please let me know if currently there is a way to enable this behavior or there are plans to enhance it in the future to support it.
