Its the right, but not always the fastest way. We'll try to commit the
updates as soon as possible but sometimes it just takes few days.
In general it is recommended to send updates to Sf.net tracker. Somebody
will (usually me) commit them to correct places. There is always small
possibility new tracker items don't get noticed and then just forgotten.
So if nothing happens in few days, then kind reminder can be sent to
this list, development list or directly to me...
Some people send updates directly to me, but there is a risk it can take
some time I have time to commit them... And as they are in my inbox
nobody else can commit them.
So prefer submitting to sf.net tracker.
