We should provide MSI installer too. Traditional
executable installers are nice for individual users.
But corporate admins like MSI installers since they can
install and update machines using ActiveDirectory.

MS offers WiX toolset in Sourceforge for creating MSI
installers:

Unfortunately I don't have enough time for this. We would
need beta release with MSI installer. But we have no time
for it if we want to release next stable in couple of months.

SharpDevelop 3.0 has nice Wix integration. That or WixEdit.

There are already decent tools available, just needs somebody with enough time... I can help with how WinMerge needs/should be installed, but I don't believe I have time to create whole installer from the scratch...
